Introducing new cryptocurrencies at SpectroCoin

While deciding on cryptocurrencies that are going to be included in our supported currencies list, the key aspects we take into account are our community demand, the technology behind the project, and the liquidity of the cryptocurrency. Thus, this time we implemented Algorand (ALGO), Polygon (MATIC), and Shiba Inu (SHIB). 

Algorand (ALGO)

Algorand was released in 2019 with the aim to improve the security, decentralization, and speed of blockchain technology. It is an open-source network designed for other developers to establish new applications powered by cryptocurrency. Mainly, the Algorand project has been used in real estate, copyright, and microfinance.

ALGO, the native currency of Algorand, entitles its holders to block rewards that are distributed every 10 minutes. The rewards are intended to engage users in using the Algorand platform. 

Polygon (MATIC)

Polygon is a blockchain platform designed to scale Ethereum and develop its infrastructure. It provides a framework for linking Ethereum-compatible blockchain networks. The project aims to offer a faster and cheaper option for transaction processing. 

MATIC, the native ERC-20 token of the Polygon project, is designed as a settlement currency between the platform users. In addition, MATIC is used to pay transaction fees on the Polygon network. 

Shiba Inu (SHIB)

Probably you have already heard of the famous Dogecoin, which you can already exchange at the SpectroCoin platform. Shiba Inu (SHIB) is an ERC-20 token built on the same joke popular across the internet. The token also contains Shiba Inu in its logo, aiming to bring the attention of the whole Bitcoin community. 

Shiba Inu’s holds its own decentralized exchange ShibaSwap, allowing users to exchange SHIB tokens for other cryptos. What’s more, SHIB holders can possess billions of SHIB tokens.
