Buy and Sell Ethereum at SpectroCoin

Ethereum is a decentralized application that supports a cryptocurrency just like Bitcoin that you can use to pay or trade online.  However, unlike Bitcoin, Ethereum cryptocurrency runs on a smart contract - a blockchain technology that allows Ethereum to be traded only if certain conditions are met. Ethereum's own cryptocurrency is called ether and it is currently the second biggest digital currency behind Bitcoin.

From now on SpectroCoin clients can purchase or sell Ethereum cryptocurrency straight on the SpectroCoin platform at a favorable exchange rate. This is part of our goal to support more types of digital assets over the coming years.

To do so, first of all, log into your SpectroCoin account. Once you are there, select the "Exchange" option in the top menu:

You will be forwarded to a "Cryptocurrency exchange" window. From there, select your preferred "Pay currency" and input the amount of money you want to use to buy ether. In the "Receive currency" field choose "ETH".

You will see how much ether you get for your selected amount in the field on the right. After inputting all the information click "Exchange":

You will be forwarded to the exchange summary. Please check your details and press "Confirm":

Congratulations, you have just purchased ether!

You can see your newly purchase cryptocurrency in the "Account" section of the website:

SpectroCoin customers can also easily deposit and withdraw Ethereum cryptocurrency.

To deposit ether simply input your SpectroCoin Ethereum wallet address into the wallet you are sending your tokens from. To find your SpectroCoin Ethereum wallet address, press on the ETH icon in the left-hand-side menu:

You will be forwarded to a new window. You can find your Ethereum wallet address next to the QR code:

To withdraw ether simply press the "Send" button:

Into the "Address or Email" field insert the Ethereum wallet address you want to send ether to. If you are sending it to another SpectroCoin user inputting an email address is enough.

Then, in the "Withdraw amount" field input the sum of ether you want to send. You can input additional information about the transaction you want the receiver to see in the "Memo" field (it is optional).

Finally, after filling out all the necessary fields click "Submit":

You will be forwarded to your transaction summary window. Please check that the transaction details are correct and press "Confirm":

Next, you will be asked to input a second-factor authentication code. You will receive it via SMS, email, or the Google Authenticator app, depending on which method you chose in your SpectroCoin profile options. After inputting the authentication code press "Submit":

Congratulations, you have withdrawn your Ethereum currency:
